Clean-Room Reimplementation · Internal Context Document
The Ruby Trivia web app hosted on Eliza Cloud was built from scratch. The trivia questions were written original for this version. The game engine, front-end code, scoring logic, and all visual assets were created new — none were copied, ported, or derived from the ruby-high/ruby-trivia repository. No source code, images, stylesheets, or other assets from that repo were used at any point during development.
A trivia game — asking questions, tracking right and wrong answers, keeping score, showing a leaderboard — is a common, well-known game format. Copyright protects specific original expression (the actual code someone wrote, the particular art assets they created), not general ideas or mechanics. Because no code or assets from the original project were copied, and only the unprotectable concept of "a trivia game" is shared, there is no basis for a copying claim.
This rebuild was initiated and directed within this Discord server by the server operator. The work was carried out as a directed task under that authority, not as an independent or unauthorized fork of someone else's project.
